Auld Claithes and Purridge

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

Stojan, Zhani and their daughter are from the town of Sliven in south-east Bulgaria, at the foot of the Blue Mountains, about 200 miles east of the capital Sophia. Stojan Slavchevi is the pastor of the Congregational Church in Sliven and Zhani has a God-given gift of song.

However, in the words of a good old Scottish saying, ‘It is back to auld claithes and purridge’.  For a translation -  listen to this edition of ’Pause for Thought’ from 10 Radio.
